Fun Times
No that isn't a picture of me fresh outta the shower - that's a picture of me after I got stuck in a Korean storm. I went for a run and, halfway through, found myself under attack from large rain drops. It really was fun =)
I have no idea what this was all about...I was walking to my bus stop to go home and there was a stage set up with this lady talking. She was making people laugh and was dressed as a clown. It was the strangest thing.
Two of my students were outside watching the show so I took a picture of them. Goofy little girls - they're fun people. All the kids try to talk to me despite the fact that the majority of them only know how to say "Hello, how are you? I'm fine, and you?" Literally. That's what they say - all at once and very fast.
We went to the International Food Festival in Itaewon and came across this lovely. I guess this guy takes his dog everywhere because the pup has quite the set up on the moped. It was absolutely adorable and made me miss my doggy even more.
I did a potion lesson in my 6th grade class. They had to create a potion and tell me how to make it. These girls seem to have a thing for Leonardo DiCaprio because they had no idea what "Inception" meant. I asked them and they just laughed. I asked them if they liked Leonardo and they giggled and nodded.
After we created potions, we spent the next class figuring out a way to market them. This group created a poster to entice people to purchase their product. They also did a cute little skit that involved them pretending to drink something and closing their eyes as if they were invisible. It was cuteness.
I came home Thursday to find these waiting for me. One Happy Bread and one Not-So-Happy Bread =D
Last night was Kayla and Shaun's fare thee well, they're leaving for two months. Lovely lovely couple. We all went to Ilsan where we proceeded to have an awesome night. We jumped from one place to another. We had a great time and partied until 4am - there is no closing time in Korea. We have been fortunate enough to have met some pretty fantastic people here.
As you can see, we eventually found ourselves with giant chopsticks that soon turned into magic wands. This evolved into a screaming match of random Harry Potter spells and a duel between Janet and Nat. Hilarity!
This is located somewhere in Ilsan...why, I have no idea. But it looked like a great opportunity to take a sweet photo!
