Gyeongbok Palace & Chuseok

This is just a picture to show Korea fashion. This is a young man wearing tights, shorts, and a long sleeve shirt. Rosanna. I have seen several people commit worse offenses but I fear capturing them on camera. I have seen the 3B's law trampled on with no respect. I'm talking...black vests with checked navy blue shirts, camel colored straight legged pants, and matching camel shoes. That was on one person. The 3B law does not exist here! Craziness. I can wear whatever I want. I'm afraid. haha

Now on to other things ^_^
We went to the Gyeongbok Palace for Chuseok (the Fall Equinox festival!). This was taken outside of the palace.

This was taken inside the palace walls.
We really just saw a crowd of people and decided to follow. We were glad we did!

Yea, it was pretty amazing.

There were a couple different shows happening, some on the palace grounds and some near the Folk Museum of Korea (which is still on the grounds of the palace...HUGE palace grounds).

Just some super adorable kids in their Chuseok hanboks!

This little girl I caught in a mid run to her grandfather. Cuteness.

Brooke's Palace
Jacob's Palace
This was while we were waiting in line for songpyeon and rice wine. Yummy little Chuseok goodies.

I really don't know what to say except that it was beautiful. I took so many photos but definitely too many to upload here (takes a while) so I'll be posting the rest on FB for everyone to see.

The place was magnificent.

Just another angle of the palace. We are trying to figure out how to get to those mountains. We want to hike them but will definitely find a guide before we go hiking around South Korea. We know what can happen!

There were all sorts of performances and things going on around us. It was pretty awesome to be in the middle of a celebration for another cultures holiday. We really enjoyed ourselves despite the fact that we couldn't understand what the performances were about.
